Impressions on the new Crowhurst album
Crowhurst is an experimental death metal band from L.A. and has a brand new album, II, for me it felt like a great trip in a dark world where stoner and drone meet. The album starts with a great introduction to the rest of the album, it follows with Take The Pain Away a stoner like song with a lot of deconstructed music where sounds are clashing heavily together. The songs of the albums blend with each other, there's a continuity in the album. No Saviors, fourth song, reminded me a bit of grunge for some reasons, but the album is very dark and heavy all the way through. Instruments create a universe where you might not feel comfortable, but enigmatic enough to take the journey and explore it. I loved the album and it was great to hear all the sounds put together to make something that is unique and inspiring. this band doesn't stop anyways, with over 75 albums all available on Bandcamp.
