Priors : Priors (Review)
First self titled for the Montreal punk band Pirors. They have that post punk style à la Devo and a lot of fuzz in the guitar distortion just like El Napoleon. The 10 songs are a lot of fun. They are hitting the chords very hard on their guitars. The music is playful, nothing too serious, lots of yayaya in the lyrics. The drum has a very good beat and comes up with very good transitions. The bass keeps the melody going and the guitars are nice with the melodies that are looped and that are full of old school distortions. They sound a bit garage and they have a good rock beat. The voice has that attitude of I don't care sending catchy lyrics. If you are a fan of wacky music that is fun, go check this album. Facebook Bandcamp
