The Adventures In Slumberland : This whole house is crooked (Review)
New EP of a new band from Montreal. Adventures In Slumberland is a trio of guys that don't hesitate to switch instruments. They say they have bad taste in music, but they at least make good music. I enjoy the five songs, they easily bring us back to the grunge era with their music that goes in a lot of directions. The bass is so heavy and loud it makes the music groovy. The guitar is creative and sometimes crafts sounds with distortions and that becomes the solo of the song. All tracks are unique, they have their own styles. The Adventure In Anxiety has a keyboard instead of the guitar. Can feel that the band has fun and that is about getting together and play music, however it comes out, they do it and sounds like they have fun recording themselves. Hard to say who they sound like, because they mix a bunch of stuff together to come up with their tracks. But i can say, that they would fit well on a bill with Pussy Stentch and Towanda.
