Haram : What Do You See? (Review)
This four piece band from New York City recently released their EP of raw punk music. You can feel the energy coming through. The music reminds me of Minor Threat and Black Flack. I find this release is closer to the old school hardcore. The previous four tracks had a feel that was closer to the uk82 punk. You still feel that, with "What Do You See?" but the sound is a bit different and honestly sounds better, the mixing is great and you hear all the instruments.
I like that the guitar of Mike has little distortion and a bit of reverbs, he has some good riffs and nice solos. Also the Drum of James and the bass of Martin are none stop they are intense and keeps it all moving like a speeding car with no breaks, never slowing down or compromise to make it sound nice.
The vocals of Nader are clean, no growls, he has a lot to say and it is fast, can't really tell you what it is about, because he sings in Arab, but i don't care he has a lot of energy and you can feel that. The band has a good chemistry going. Their album is available to stream check it out they are a fun, fast punk, good energy, can't wait to hear more from them.
