Napalm Raid : Wheel of War (Review)

The coast to coast Canadian band is back, they took their time before releasing this one since they have the band members spread out across the country one guy in Halifax, one in Montreal and one in Vancouver, if you're not familiar with Canadian geography, check a map you'll see that is a lot of distance for 3 guys to put an album together. But even with that obstacle the band didn't give up and they got this album done and it is amazing. The speed of the songs is so good you can't stay still you have to jump around, the energy that radiates from the tracks is amazing. Can't stop listening to the beat of the drum, the distortion fills all the space and the voice comes from the throat and screams the lyrics in the background. This album is solid there's no song better than the other. I think they are all very intense and all have their strengths. Glad that the band managed to make this album, i think it's their best material and this recording stands out compared to the other release definitely the metal aspect of their music comes out more. They are great ambassadors of the crust, d-beat genre and I'm sure that it will be a great event to hear them play this album live. For all the fans of Dethfox, Motorhead, Inepsy, Doom. Wheel of War is to be added to your collection. Four labels will release the album in cassette tapes with Runstate (CAN), vinyl with Rust and Machine (US) and Rawmantic Disaster (EU) and CD on PRC Music (CAN). Great to hear from Napalm Raid with this new album, I'll go back and listen to it a bunch of times. Napalm Raid on facebook Napalm Raid on Bandcamp
