Rezine : Qui fait quoi dans le groupe?
Nick: I’m Nick Evil ... I’ve played / toured in several bands these last years ... The Evil Boys (Bitume Records France), The Shifters (Universal Canada) and more recently The Maü-Maü ... I still work on solo stuff under the name Evil. I actually play guitar and drum in E&C. Marianne is a graphic designer and tattoo artist ... Von Crow Designs ... She still perform her solo stuff under Marianne Von Crow name ... She sing and play guitar in E&C.
Rezine: How did it all start?
Marianne: Je faisait du pouce avec ma guitare, il passait par là ...
Nick : Something like that... Lol
Rezine: Quelles sont vos influences musicales
Nick: Oh... Beaucoup de choses... The Cramps, Oblivians, Deja Voodoo.... Beaucoup de garage... Du surf... Plein de vieux stock rockabilly... On écoute beaucoup de choses.
Rezine: What inspires the lyrics of your songs?
Marianne: I write most of the lyrics... I’m kinda really inspired by the dark side ya know... Our songs are mostly about lost loves, bad attitude, booze and bondage... Lol
Rezine: Est-ce que vous avez une chanson que vous aimez jouer live?
Marianne: On aime toujours jouer un cover ou deux par show... Quelques fois plus obscur ou des trucs plus accessibles... C’est cool à jouer et ça permet de connecter rapidement avec le public.
Rezine: Do you have an album coming out?
Nick: Sure! We’ll be ready pretty soon... On a déjà enregistré une maquette, we plans to hit the studio at the end of the summer... We still have to find the perfect producer...
Rezine: Qu’est-ce qui est à venir?
Marianne: Plein de choses! On est en discussion avec quelques labels intéressants pour la sortie de notre album... Nous allons faire des annonces bientôt!
Rezine: Do you have other projects?
Nick: Faire quelques spectacles around pour roader notre matériel... Heading Europe for sure...
Marianne: Oui! l’Europe! Il y a tellement une belle scène garage là -bas!
